Advanced practice neonatal review of delivery-room resuscitation, diagnostic evaluation, treatment, stabilization, NICU management, and clinical decision-making for critically ill newborns.
Physician review of neonatal assessment, resuscitation, diagnosis, treatment, NICU management, complications, and prognosis for critically ill or injured newborns.
Obstetrical management, clinical decision-making, diagnosis, delivery planning, operative care, and management of maternal and fetal complications.
Anesthesia care during labor and delivery, including neuraxial anesthesia, operative delivery, maternal deterioration, and obstetrical emergencies.
Prenatal and intrapartum ultrasound findings, fetal growth, placental findings, amniotic fluid, and fetal assessment.
Midwifery care across the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum course, including clinical assessment, labor management, fetal surveillance, delivery, and recognition and escalation of complications.
High-risk pregnancy, maternal and fetal complications, antenatal surveillance, fetal growth, and management of complex obstetrical conditions.
Neurologic evaluation following birth injury, including neonatal encephalopathy, seizures, brain injury, developmental concerns, and neurologic prognosis.
Review of clinical policies, procedures, and practice standards relevant to the care at issue.
Review of hospital operations, organizational oversight, communication, escalation, staffing, quality processes, and other systems-level factors relevant to the clinical course.
Specialty expertise may be provided directly through Claddagh Counsel or through independent referral based on the needs of the case.
